Brenko Lee extends Gold Coast NRL stay

Gold Coast have re-signed outside back Brenko Lee for another year, with the 22-year-old on board with the Titans until the end of the 2019 NRL season.

Outside back Brenko Lee has added an extra season to his deal with NRL club Gold Coast.

The 22-year-old's start to the season was marred by a knee injury suffered in the trials, but has made an impression on coach Garth Brennan following his move from Canterbury.

"Brenko had a rough start to the year with a knee injury but once given the opportunity he has been a consistent performer. He's only young and he has a bright future," Brennan said in a statement on Monday.
