Twins Brett and Josh Morris will reunite in an NRL side for the first time since 2008 for Canterbury in their final trial against Melbourne on Saturday.

A key off-season signing for last year's grand finalists, Brett will play for the first time in Bulldogs colours since leaving St George Illawarra at the end of 2014.

The Morris brothers last played alongside one another in first grade seven years ago, before Josh left the Dragons for the Bulldogs.

Brett has been named at fullback to take on the Storm at AAMI Park, with Josh at centre.

Rookie No.9 Michael Lichaa will also make his `Dogs debut after his move from Cronulla, as he slots into Michael Ennis' old hooking spot.

NSW halfback Trent Hodkinson and Chase Stanley will play their first games of the year since undergoing off-season knee surgery.

Bulldogs: Brett Morris, Sam Perrett, Josh Morris, Tim Lafai, Curtis Rona, Moses Mbye, Trent Hodkinson, Sam Kasiano, Michael Lichaa, James Graham, Tony Williams, Josh Jackson, Aiden Tolman. Interchange: Greg Eastwood, Frank Pritchard, David Klemmer, Tim Browne, Matt Frawley, Chase Stanley, Damien Cook, Jacob Loko, Corey Thompson.
