A man has died after being shot in the stomach with a shotgun at a house in Brisbane's east.
The 32-year-old had a serious gunshot wound when police arrived at the house in Tingalpa just before 4pm on Thursday, following reports of a loud bang.
He was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but later died.
The attacker hasn't yet been arrested, Detective Inspector Owen Elloy told reporters, adding that a major investigation was underway.
"There's no one in custody at this stage, we do have witnesses assisting us with our inquiries," he said.
