Brisbane prop James Gavet will miss three NRL games after pleading guilty to a grade two shoulder charge against South Sydney.
Gavet committed the offence against Issac Luke in the final minute of the Rabbitohs' 36-6 win over the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday.
Ben Lowe, who was charged with grade one dangerous contact charge for a crusher tackle on Brisbane's Sam Thaiday in the same game, has also taken the early plea but won't spend any time on the sidelines.
Parramatta's Junior Paulo potentially faces nine weeks on the sidelines after being charged with a grade-three dangerous throw by the NRL match review committee.
Paulo has been sanctioned for his tackle on Manly's Matt Ballin in Friday's big win for the Eels and will serve a seven-week ban if he takes the early guilty plea and nine if he fights the charge and loses.
The back-rower was one of nine players charged after the first seven games of round one.
Manly's James Hasson faces a two-week suspension for dangerous contact against former teammate Anthony Watmough.
Canterbury five-eighth Josh Reynolds will miss two games if he pleads guilty to a grade one dangerous throw charge.
Reynolds has 51 carryover points, which means he will sit out two matches if he accepts the charge.
Canberra's Jack Wighton (striking), Wests Tigers' Mitchell Moses (high tackle), Newcastle winger Sione Mata'utia (dangerous throw), North Queensland's Johnathan Thurston (tripping) will also avoid bans after taking early pleas.
