Briton Laura Kenny has made the most of her late entry in to the Madison at the UCI Track World Cup in Berlin as she won gold alongside Emily Nelson.
Nelson had been due to ride alongside Katie Archibald - the pair are the reigning world champions - but after Archibald crashed in Saturday's omnium, winning gold regardless, Kenny was drafted in for Sunday's showpiece event.
The pair picked up points in all eight sprints and 10 points from the final sprint wrapped up victory with a tally of 37 points to the 28 of Danish duo Julie Leth and Trine Schmidt.
It was a second gold of the weekend for Kenny and Nelson, who won the women's team pursuit on Friday along with Archibald and Emily Kay.
