Broadband network's $3 million man

The head of the national broadband network Bill Morrow is paid $3 million a year, including a bonus of nearly $500,000 last year.

The man overseeing the national broadband network was paid more than $3 million last financial year.

Bill Morrow confirmed to a Senate inquiry on Monday the figure included a $500,000 bonus.

But he denied there was any rule that required NBN executives be paid more than a million dollars as he was quizzed by Labor senator Stephen Conroy, a former communications minister.
