Even Matt Lodge can't wait to see Sydney Roosters prop Dylan Napa put a huge hit on the Brisbane forward in Saturday night's NRL clash.

But Lodge is more keen to see Brisbane's finals credentials emerge in their Allianz Stadium blockbuster.

Broncos enforcer Lodge admitted he looked forward to seeing fireworks from Napa, saying he was happy to "cop a few" trademark heavy hits from the giant Queensland front-rower.

"I love it, that's what it is all about," Lodge said of the personal battle looming with Napa.

"That's all he does, puts shots on.

"I am happy to cop a few as long as I can get a few back. But it is a heavy shoulder to run into."

Former Wests Tigers forward Lodge also looked forward to his maiden NRL finals series.

But he was more focused on Brisbane backing up from last round's impressive upset over South Sydney and stamping their finals claims against second-placed Roosters.

Seventh-placed Brisbane need to win their last two games to be a chance of securing fifth or sixth and a home final.

"It (finals) is what you play the game for. I have sat back and watched a fair few finals over the years and pretty much dreamed of being out there," Lodge said.

"In finals it is whoever wants to turn up, who is willing to compete and get the job done.

"Some weeks we haven't turned up to compete. Hopefully the next two weeks will give us a guide of how bad we want it."
