Broncos NRL captains re-sign for two years

Brisbane NRL co-captains Corey Parker and Justin Hodges have re-signed with the Broncos for another two years.

Brisbane's 31-year-old co-captains Corey Parker and Justin Hodges have re-signed with the NRL club for another two years.

Parker (284 games) is in sight of Darren Lockyer's club record of 355 matches after playing 15 straight seasons since his 2001 debut.

Hodges, debuting for Brisbane as a 17-year-old in 2000, has played 160 games for the Broncos and 217 overall thanks to a four-year stint at the Sydney Roosters (2002-05).

"These deals offer a commitment to these two who have shown they want to play out their careers in Broncos jerseys," Brisbane CEO Paul White said.

Parker and Hodges this season became the first co-captains in the Broncos' 26-year history.
