Wests Tigers halfback Luke Brooks is facing a fine of over $1000 after being charged with tripping his good friend and housemate Mitchell Moses.

The incident occurred in the last minute of Parramatta's thrilling 17-16 win at ANZ Stadium on Sunday as Eels' mid-season NRL signing Moses was facing his former team - and ex-halves partner Brooks - for the first time.

Brooks will be fined $1100 for an early guilty plea but would have to pay $1500 if he unsuccessfully contested the charge.
