An alleged Brothers for Life gang member charged after a police sweep of properties in Sydney and on the NSW central coast will remain behind bars on firearms and drugs charges.

Masieh Amiri, 27, appeared before Parramatta Local Court on Thursday where his lawyer, Dean Lenz, didn't apply for bail on his client's behalf.

Amiri is one of three alleged Brothers for Life members charged with drug and gun offences after police raids on seven properties on Wednesday.

He is charged with attempting to possess an unauthorised pistol and firearm, two counts of supplying a large commercial quantity of prohibited drugs, one count of supplying an indictable quantity of prohibited drugs, and participating in a criminal group, police say.

Magistrate Georgia Knight adjourned Amiri's matter to March 6 at Sydney Central Local Court.

She also scheduled a bail application for Amiri at the same court on January 16.

Court papers reveal Amiri is charged with attempting to possess a "shortened 12-gauge Mossberg pump action shotgun" and a "0.38 special calibre Smith and Wesson model 10 revolver" in November 2013.

He's also charged with supplying 15.085 grams of cocaine and 1134.20 grams of other prohibited drugs between November 2013 and January, the papers also show.
