Bubs breaks onto Woolies shelves

Baby formula group Bubs Australia says it its goats milk infant formula will soon be available on the shelves at Woolworths supermarkets for the first time.

Baby formula group Bubs Australia says Woolworths supermarkets will stock its goat milk infant formula products from in April.

Bubs Australia chief executive Nicholas Simms said the deal will put its goats milk infant formula in metropolitan Woolworths stores that have shown the highest volume of infant formula sales.

Bubs has previously secured deals with Woolies' supermarket competitors IGA and Coles.

The infant formula producer's $39 million acquisition of NuLac Foods in November set the company up as Australia's only vertically integrated producer of goat milk infant formula.

Shares in Bubs were one cent higher at 73.5 cents at 1453 AEDT.
