Bulldogs coy on Lichaa injury

Canterbury hooker Michael Lichaa could be out for the rest of the season after injuring his ankle in the club's season-opening win over Manly.

Lichaa, in his first game back since undergoing major ankle surgery last August, limped off midway through the second half against the Sea Eagles and went for scans on Saturday.

The Bulldogs have refused to divulge how long they will be without the 22-year-old, who could miss anywhere between a month and the rest of the season.
