Bushfire threatens Waroona in WA

An emergency warning has been issued for people in the western part of Waroona, south of Perth.

Lives and homes in a country town south of Perth are being threatened by an out of control bushfire.

The blaze started between Coronation Road and Buller Road in Waroona, and is moving northeast quickly.

An emergency warning has been issued, with home owners told it is too late to leave and they need to actively defend their properties.
