Cabcharge's half year net profit has fallen 22 per cent after the NSW and West Australian governments capped the amount it could charge customers.
The company's net profit of $24.4 million for the six months to December 31 is down from $31.2 million a year ago.
Revenue for the half year fell 11.8 per cent to $88.6 million, after the NSW and WA governments halved the fee the company can charge customers, capping it at five per cent of the transaction value.
Cabcharge will pay a fully franked interim dividend of 10 cents per share, unchanged from a year ago.
