Cafe workers remember fallen manager

Workers at the Martin Place cafe who had been held hostage and survived the siege have laid flowers for their slain manager, Tori Johnson.

Lindt Cafe workers who survived the siege have laid flowers at a makeshift memorial in Martin Place after attending the funeral of their fallen manager, Tori Johnson.

The flowers joined hundreds of bouquets that have been placed under a marquee close to the spot where a sea of flowers were cleared on Tuesday morning.

Mr Johnson's colleagues stood together and watched as White Lady funeral staff placed dozens of sunflowers and white roses on a black table.

A nearby busker played Silent Night on a guitar.
