The United Nations' refugee agency is urging Australians to donate more money to Syria, as the number of refugees fleeing goes over four million.
UNHCR has called it the world's single largest humanitarian crisis for almost a quarter of a century, with most of the four million refugees in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Eygpt.
Head of the UN Refugee Agency in Jordan, Andrew Harper, says without donations, Syrian refugees and other displaced people will suffer.
He told Van Nguyen the number of refugees fleeing Syria is increasing every day.
