The jobs of 150 South Australian mental health workers will be gone in four weeks unless the government steps in to fund "vital services", the state opposition says.
Among the workers set to be cut are those employed under the Personal Helpers and Mentors Program, which will lose more than 60 per cent of its funding at the end of this financial year.
"Unless someone picks up the tab for these vital services, 150 people will lose their jobs and thousands of South Australians will be without assistance," opposition health and wellbeing spokesman Chris Picton said on Monday
