Almost a year after Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 was shot down over eastern Ukraine, belongings from some of the 298 people killed are still being found in the surrounding area.
There's still no firm conclusion as to who was responsible for the tragedy, which came amid fighting between Ukrainian government forces and separatist rebels in the area.
Among those who died were 38 Australian citizens and residents - and ahead of the anniversary, Australia has backed calls for a United Nations tribunal to try to track down and prosecute the perpetrators.
Dutch journalist Joost Bosman, who's near the crash site in eastern Ukraine, spoke with Anneke Mackay-Smith from SBS Radio's Dutch program.
