AFL umpires boss Wayne Campbell has outlined his sympathy for Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley, who said his power forward Travis Cloke "got nothing" from umpires.
Campbell said Cloke could have been paid two more free kicks in the match, which the Magpies lost by five points to Richmond.
Rather than reprimand Buckley for his comments, Campbell said he thought the Brownlow medallist turned coach was speaking globally about the role of key forwards and not criticising any specific umpire.
