Medicinal cannabis and cosmetics firm MGC Pharmaceuticals has had its cannabis-based anti-ageing cosmetics approved for sale in Canada.
MGC on Monday said Health Canada's approval enables the company to immediately enter the Canadian cosmetics market, which was estimated to be worth around $US1.9 billion ($A2.65 billion) in 2015.
Shares in MGC were 0.5 cents, or 9.09 per cent, higher at six cents at 1008 AEST.
