Canberra star Blake Austin will miss the side's final game of the regular season against Parramatta due to a shoulder injury.

The five-eighth suffered a tear to his right shoulder in the second half of Monday night's win over Penrith, ruling him out of Sunday's clash with the Eels.

Having moved to the nation's capital on a three-year deal this season, the former Wests Tigers playmaker penned a one-year extension with the Raiders before the game.

Austin is arguably the buy of the year in 2016, playing in every game thus far and leading the club with 14 tries.

Forward Frank-Paul Nu'uausala was cleared of an injury and will take the field for the final game of the year at Pirtek Stadium.

The 10th-placed Raiders can lift themselves to ninth spot with a win over Parramatta.
