World champion Jessica Fox has won silver in the C1 at the first ICF canoe slalom World Cup event in Prague.
21-year-old Fox finished less than a second behind local Czech paddler, Katerina Hoskova, with Brazil's Ana Satila in third.
Fox and Hoskova were the only paddlers to complete the course without penalty on Saturday.
The Australian had to overcome a setback earlier in the week when she cut her leg during training.
The injury restricted her preparation but she has not reduced her busy program in Prague.
Fox took a conservative approach in her C1 semi-final, qualifying sixth, and led the final until Hoskova, the final competitor, thrilled the home crowd.
Hoskova finished in 1:12.57, with Fox crossing in 1:13.47.
The Prague course is where Fox won her C1 World Championship title in 2013.
Nine Australians are featuring across various classes at the event among a field of 300 competitors representing 45 countries.
