Co-captain Tim Mannah has re-signed with Parramatta on a new three-year NRL deal.

The new contract will keep 26-year-old Mannah, a former Eels junior, with the club until the end of the 2017 NRL season.

"I'm very excited to be sticking around because Parramatta is home," Mannah said in a statement.

"I walk in the office and see people I've known since I was a kid; it's a place I love being at, and I'm really honoured to be at this club.

"To pull on the blue and gold jersey means a lot, and to be able to play in a team I'm so passionate about and with a club that I love never stops giving me a buzz."

Coach Brad Arthur welcomed the retention of the former NSW prop, who made his NRL debut with the Eels in 2009.

"With Tim it's not just about the talent he brings on the field," Arthur said.

"He's the type of person you want to build your club around, and I'm glad to see him staying in blue and gold."
