Car bursts doors off Melbourne cinema

A car has burst the doors off a Melbourne cinema before reversing twice into an ATM.

Cars burst through doors in cinemas all the time, but usually the action is confined to the big screen.

A car burst through the doors of a Melbourne Village Cinema at 4.25am on Sunday, before it reversed twice into an ATM.

The dark green sedan then drove out of the Karingal Drive complex in Frankston.

Nothing was stolen.

Two people were inside the complex at the time but were not injured.

Police are searching for the green Holden, which had a spoiler on the back and sports wheels.
