A man and woman, both in their 70s, are being treated for minor injuries after their car reversed into a bakery in Brisbane's west.

An elderly couple has escaped serious injury after their car reversed into a bakery in Brisbane's west.

Paramedics said a man and woman, both in their 70s, were taken to Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital after the crash, which happened around 11.20am in Ferny Hills on Tuesday.

The woman had lower back pain, while the man had minor injuries and was treated for spinal precautions.
