Car crashes into Sydney nursing home

A woman has been treated for suspected broken ribs after crashing her car into a nursing home in Sydney.

A 26-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after crashing her car into a Sydney nursing home.

The woman has suspected broken ribs and a chest injury after the crash on Marion Street in Leichhardt around 2.20am on Saturday.

It also caused structural damage to two rooms at the nursing home, so two residents had to be moved elsewhere in the building.
