Carlton have called on forgotten AFL ruckman Cameron Wood to help the Blues past North Melbourne on Friday night.
Wood was a shock selection late in the AFL rookie draft by Mick Malthouse, who coached the 204cm ruck at Collingwood.
After stints at Brisbane and the Magpies, Wood admitted his surprise to be drafted to the Blues last November.
Should he turn out for his third AFL club, it will be his first AFL game in nearly two years after spending last season at VFL side Williamstown.
He will wear the No.36 made famous by Carlton captain Mark Maclure - in the same week Maclure criticised Malthouse as "friendless" and a "bully".
