Two young men have been attacked and robbed while sitting in a vehicle in a multi-storey carpark in Perth.

The 18- and 19-year-olds were on the sixth floor of a Scarborough carpark when a group of five or six men approached the vehicle.

One of the men punched the 18-year-old in the face several times before dragging him from the vehicle. The 19-year-old was also punched in the face.

The group then rummaged through the car, stealing various items including two wallets containing bank cards.

One of the cards was used to withdraw money from a ATM at Glendalough train station later in the day.

The 18-year-old was treated in Joondalup Health Campus and kept in overnight.

The 19-year-old did not require medical treatment.
