John Cartwright has been appointed as an assistant to Laurie Daley as NSW overhaul their State of Origin coaching staff.
Manly assistant Cartwright will join the Blues for next season as will Victoria Cross recipient Mark Donaldson as assistant team manager.
"John is a well-respected and credentialed coach and has played at the highest level of the game, for NSW and Australia, while Mark Donaldson VC is an incredible man who was involved with the Blues in camps two and three this year in a mentoring capacity," Daley said.
