Casino uncertainty must end: SA govt

The South Australian government wants Adelaide Casino operator Skycity to hurry up and make a call about its stalled Riverbank project.

The South Australian government is urging Adelaide Casino operator Skycity to make a decision about its stalled Riverbank redevelopment.

"The very helpful thing for the casino to do would be to make up their mind what, if anything, they're going to do sooner rather than later and tell us all," Planning Minister John Rau told ABC radio on Thursday.

Skycity earlier said it was continuing to review the concept design and projected costs to ensure the project best met future market requirements.

It remains committed to the casino redevelopment, and the construction of a new hotel and other facilities, but said the timing of it was uncertain.
