Challenge Cup hiding for London Broncos

The London Broncos have been thumped 64-12 in rugby league's Challenge Cup.

Former Parramatta NRL prop Fuifui Moimoi was among the tryscorers in English second-tier side Leigh's 64-12 thumping of the London Broncos in the fourth round of the Challenge Cup.

London, who play in the same league as Leigh, are without a fulltime coach and a number of the senior players they started the season with owing to injury and departures.

They were put to the sword by the Centurions in Lancashire with Leigh scoring 11 tries.

Ryan Brierley, Sam Hopkins and Gregg McNally scored two tries each with the last four pointer of the night scored by Moimoi - the former New Zealand prop who on Friday extended his deal with the club.

Martyn Ridyard nailed 10 goals as London were comprehensively drubbed, with Brian Noble - who looks set to take over from Joey Grima - appearing to have a real job on his hands at the Broncos.
