Melbourne centre Will Chambers could miss up to two NRL matches after being cited for a shoulder charge.

Chambers was picked up by the match review committee for the 68th minute hit on Cronulla's Wade Graham in Sunday's 11-2 loss.

He can have the ban reduced to just Saturday's clash with Manly if he takes an early guilty plea, however he risks also missing the Storm's Anzac Day fixture against the Warriors if he fights it at the judiciary, and loses.

It's the second time the Queensland State of Origin centre has found himself in hot water this year.

He was fined $1100 for contrary conduct in round one after punching Canterbury prop David Klemmer from behind at Belmore Oval.

Chambers was the only player charged from the weekend's NRL action.
