Charge after Perth Centrelink stabbing

A man, 23, has been charged with unlawful wounding after he allegedly stabbed a 33-year-old man outside a Perth Centrelink office.

A 23-year-old man has been charged after a fight outside a Centrelink office in Perth's south where a man was stabbed in the neck.

West Australian police said the confrontation occurred at about 2.15pm on Tuesday outside the Rockingham branch.

The 33-year-old victim was taken to Rockingham Hospital for treatment.

A man has been charged with unlawful wounding, and is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on May 16.
