Charges over stabbing at Perth home

A 50-year-old man is being treated at Royal Perth Hospital for stab wounds inflicted during an argument with a 22-year-old man at a home in High Wycombe.

A 22-year-old man has been charged over a stabbing in Perth's eastern suburbs that's left a man in a serious but stable condition.

Police allege an altercation occurred between 7pm and 7.30pm on Monday at a home in High Wycombe, culminating in a 50-year-old man being stabbed.

He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.

His alleged attacker has been charged with unlawful wounding with circumstances of aggravation, aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm and common assault with circumstances of aggravation.

He is due to appear in the Midland Magistrates Court later on Tuesday.
