Cilic advances in style at French Open

Seeded duo Marin Cilic and John Isner have won their French Open second-round matches in straight sets.

Croatian Marin Cilic has advanced to the third round of the French Open with a straight-forward victory over Konstantin Kravchuk on Thursday.

The seventh-seeded Cilic, who had 11 aces, broke Kravchuck's serve at love to end the Russian's Roland Garros debut in the 6-3 6-2 6-2 win.

The seventh-seeded Cilic will next face either David Ferrer or Feliciano Lopez, who are into the fifth set and fourth hour of their second round battle.

Big-serving American John Isner, the No.21 seed, sent down 21 aces on his way to a 6-3 7-6 (7-3) 7-6 (7-2) triumph over Paolo Lorenzi.

World No.1 Andy Murray and the third-seeded Stan Wawrinka are on court against Martin Klizan and Alexandr Dolgopolov respectively, while the 18th-seeded Australian Nick Kyrgios will player Kevin Anderson later on Thursday.
