CIMIC gets $437m contract in Indonesia

CIMIC Group says its mining services unit Theiss has secured a new contract in Indonesia that will generate $437 million in revenue between 2017 and 2024.

CIMIC Group's unit Theiss has won a new contract to provide mining services at the Gunung Bara Utama coal mine in Indonesia's East Kalimantan.

The Theiss contract will run from 2017 until 2024 and generate total revenue of around $437 million.

The company said the new contract reinforced the strong position of CIMIC's mining business.
