A Sydney law firm has accused Malaysia Airlines of denying adequate compensation to the families of MH17 air crash victims.

LHD compensation lawyers claim at least two Australian families have been offered barely a quarter of the money they are legally entitled to obtain.

The lawyers says, under the Montreal international convention, families of flight tragedies are entitled to $183,000(AU), paid by the airline irrespective of fault.

However, Malaysia Airlines are yet to pay this sum.

Angelo Risso spoke with US Attorney and Co-Associate of LHD, Jerry Skinner, who accused Malaysia Airlines of neglecting their international obligations.
