Fremantle midfielder Clancee Pearce has agreed to a two-year contract extension, tying him to the AFL club until at least the end of 2016.
Pearce's career was at the crossroads at the end of 2011 when he was delisted.
Coach Ross Lyon gave him a second chance, and Pearce promptly repaid the faith, playing 43 games in the past two seasons to take his career tally to 69.
The 23-year-old missed last year's charge to the grand final after damaging his Achilles tendon in round 23, with the injury requiring surgery.
Pearce has since returned to full training, and took part in Tuesday's intraclub match at Patersons Stadium.
