Clarke in line for top ICC honours

Australia's Michael Clarke is line for the top honours in the ICC's annual awards.

Australian captain Michael Clarke has been shortlisted for ICC cricketer of the year and Test player of the year.

England's Jimmy Anderson and South African batsman Hashim Amla are also in contention for both awards.

The awards will be telecast on December 14.

South Africa's Dale Steyn and Indian duo Cheteshwar Pujara and Ravi Ashwin are also in line for the Test award.

Australia's Meg Lanning has been shortlisted for the Women's ODI cricketer of the year.

ICC Cricket Committee chairman Anil Kumble acted as chair of the ICC awards selection panel.

Voting for the shortlists has been completed by an independent 32-person academy including media and former players.
