Western Bulldogs recruit Travis Cloke hopes he can add a little extra to the club to help the AFL premiers defend their title.

The former Collingwood full-forward this year struggled to find the form that helped him win the 2010 premiership with the Magpies but was hopeful of adding plenty of games in the blue, white and red.

"Hopefully, I can just be that one or two per cent extra and enjoy my football as much as enjoying their brand of football," he told AAP on Tuesday at the Melbourne Cup.
