Two men charged with terrorism offences are due to face a committal hearing in Brisbane Magistrates Court in September.

Omar Succarieh and Agim Kruezi are charged with preparing for incursions into foreign states.

Kruezi also faces a charge of planning a terrorist act and Succarieh is also charged with providing funds to the terrorist organisation.

A Brisbane magistrate set the committal date at the request of defence lawyers at a brief hearing in Brisbane this morning.

Both were arrested last September after Australian Federal Police raided the iQraa Islamic Centre at Underwood.

Lawyers for the two accused say they have recently received a large amount of material from federal authorities related to the case.

Last week federal prosecutors dropped a fraud charge in a related case against Brisbane man Robert Louis Maestracci due to lack of evidence.

Mr Maestracci was charged shortly after the AFP raids in September in which Succarieh and Kruezi were arrested.

Succarieh and Kruezi remain in custody.
