An opposition Cambodian MP has expressed concerns about proposals for Cambodia to resettle refugees processed in Australian detention centres.

Immigration Minister Scott Morrison says Cambodia has agreed in principle to the arrangement that has yet to be signed off and the details of which are not publicly known.

Yim Sovann from the opposition Cambodian National Rescue Party has been in Australia to meet members of Australia's Cambodian Community.
