Consumers less anxious: NAB survey

Consumers are feeling less anxious, a new survey shows, but worries remain about the cost of living.

Australian consumers are feeling less stressed by retirement funding, the cost of living, job security and their health, but are feeling more anxious about government policy.

National Australia Bank's latest consumer anxiety index fell to 62.5 points in the third quarter of 2015, down from 63.5 points in the previous three months.

Although concerns associated with the cost of living fell, it remained the biggest cause of consumer stress.
