Corletto to bring up 350 NBL games

New Zealand Breakers and former Melbourne Tigers guard Daryl Corletto will make his 350th Australian NBL appearance on Friday.

Guard Daryl Corletto will reach a personal milestone of 350 games in the National Basketball League when he runs out for the New Zealand Breakers against Adelaide in Auckland on Friday.

It will be his 73rd appearance for the Breakers, whom he joined in 2011 after a decade with the Melbourne Tigers.

Corletto, 32, also has the remarkable statistic of missing just one match through his 13 seasons in the league.

Even then, he was sidelined not because of injury as such, but through getting a stomach ulcer from taking too many anti-inflammatories for a knee problem.

Corletto, who is noted for his long-shooting, admits he doesn't play in the same physical style as the likes of Breakers skipper Mika Vukona.

"I don't jump around and bang and crash," he said.

"I just stay out of trouble and float around doing what I do, I guess."

Doing what he does has made Corletto part of four title-winning campaigns, two with the Tigers and two with the Breakers.
