A Melbourne mother who became obsessed with her teenage son's best friend has been ordered to serve a two-year community corrections order after pleading guilty to sending him indecent material.
The 41-year-old sent the boy about 25 pictures and 10 videos between January 2013 and October 2014 when he was aged between 13 and 15.
The woman, who cannot be named, told police she knew what she was doing wrong but she was infatuated with the boy and believed she loved him.
