Coutts wins third silver at worlds

Australian swimmer Alicia Coutts has claimed a third silver medal at the world titles in Barcelona.

Australian Alicia Coutts finished second in the 200m individual medley final to claim her third silver medal at the world championships in Barcelona.

Coutts clocked two minutes and 9.39 seconds to finish behind Hungarian Katinka Hosszu (2:07.92) on Monday.

Mireia Belmonte Garcia of Spain was third.

Earlier Coutts, embarking on a gruelling schedule, finished second behind Sweden's Sarah Sjostrom in the 100m butterfly.

She clocked 56.97 seconds behind the impressive Sjostrom (56.53) with American Olympic champion and world record holder Dana Vollmer (57.24) in third.

Coutts also helped Australia's women's 4x100m freestyle relay team to silver in Sunday night's final, though she felt she had let the team down after being overtaken on the final leg.
