North Queensland have confirmed back-rower Ethan Lowe has re-signed with the Cowboys until the end of next year.

Lowe, who debuted for the Cowboys in 2013, has been an ever present for the NRL club in 2015.

Cowboys football manager Peter Parr said the club was happy to extend the 24-year-old former Sydney Roosters junior's stay in Townsville.

"Ethan has a bright future in the game and we're delighted that he will continue his career with the Cowboys," Parr said.

Lowe's re-signing means 11 members of the Cowboys' squad remain off-contract at season's end including Scott Bolton, former representative forward Ben Hannant and John Asiata.
