The England and Wales Cricket Board has written to all counties about the rising number of disciplinary offences.
The letter from the Cricket Discipline Commission was issued after nine players - including Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and former England captain Paul Collingwood - received reprimands or penalties in the latest round of disciplinary proceedings.
"The Cricket Discipline Commission has noted the increased numbers of fixed penalty offences during the 2015 season so far and has written to all counties reminding them of the importance of maintaining high disciplinary standards," and ECB statement on Thursday said.
Collingwood earned three penalty points for showing dissent in Durham's county championship division one clash with Warwickshire and Maxwell was reprimanded for a similar offence in a second XI outing for Yorkshire.
