Australian Test squad debutant Andrew Fekete credits his move to Tasmania for his national selection.
The 30-year-old paceman was on Monday named in Australia's squad of 15 bound for Bangladesh late in September after coming under the notice of selectors with the Tigers Shield side last summer.
"In Victoria I was in and around the group a little bit but didn't get that opportunity to be contracted and be a full-time cricketer which Tasmania gave to me," Fekete told reporters in Hobart on Monday.
