Adelaide Crows coach Phil Walsh feels a bit out of whack.
Walsh is loving his first season as an AFL head coach, but admits finding it hard to switch off from footy - he's yet to find that balance.
"You understand, not just in this town, but it's not an easy job, being senior coach," Walsh told reporters on Friday.
"There is a lot of things at play. Your mind is always busy and consumed.
"In saying that, I really like the job, I enjoy what I'm doing.
"But you have to be careful because there are no boundaries on the job.
"It can go 24/7, 365 (days). So you have got make sure you put some boundaries in place - I probably haven't just got that sorted out just at the moment."
The work-life imbalance is why Walsh doesn't want newly-retired defender Brent Reilly in his coaching box too often.
Reilly, who quit this week after having pre-season skull surgery, will assist Walsh against St Kilda on Saturday.
"His focus is more helping the defenders, and he's going to specifically look at a couple of areas in the box for us tomorrow," Walsh said.
"We're really conscious though that we don't want to throw him into a whole coach's load.
"He still is in recovery mode.
"I don't want to welcome him into my world just yet. I want him to enjoy his life a little bit."
